Hi Ladies
AF arrived yesterday which was no big surprise however the cramps definitely aren't as bad as the normally are which is a really good sign.
I started taking the vitamin b tabs on the weekend & gosh don't they make your wee seem like it's glowing in the dark!
DH & I had our docs appoinment yesterday so no there's no excuse for him not doing his test. She wasn't any help with my short LP questions, I don't even think she knew what I was talking about. So when we get the results of DH test we'll decide whether or not to go & see a gyno.
Sorry I haven't had a chance to read all the posts I've missed, just wanted to update you all on what's happening.

mel - i am a hopeless romantic! mr darcy is one of the main characters on pride and prejudice. if you are into girlie movies check it out (the new one with kiera nightly) every time i watch the movie i just love his character more and more! you have to watch it once to see what's going on, and then go back the second time just to watch him.
still damn emotional, got teary just writing that! lol

Hi girls.
Im feeling a bit sad today :gloomy: Im trying to lose some weight (have been for a while- but having insulin resistance makes it nice and hard) but Im worried about what people will say. I know most people think saying "Wow you have lost weight" is a compliment, but its not, I think someones weight is their own business, and nothing to do with anyone else. And I also am afraid that if I lose weight when I am pregnant people will judge me because of that too! (even though my Ob says its fine for women who are overweight) Basically, Im scared of people judging me no matter what I do. That has happened to me my whole life about my weight, and Im just so over it. Losing weight is just as stressful sometimes because of all the comments you get.
Thanks for listening girls. Sorry for the rant. I just needed to get that out. :hugs:

:hugs: Katie. I know exactly what you mean. I've been overweight all my life and it becomes part of who you are, even though you don't want it to be. People assume you sit on the couch eating chips all day if you are overweight. And when people notice you have lost weight, the first thing I think is "i must have been really big before" or get anxious because they are looking at me. I'm scared of who i will find underneath, it's like i don't really know the true me because she's been hidden for so long.
I'm sorry you feel like this, just want you to know you are normal and not alone.
You'll get through it and feel fabulous!

Morning girls
:iagree:with KK, Katie i also have been very very big all my life, i understand what you are going through. :hugs: I had my husband putting pressure on me to loose weight for our wedding and in the end I was like no, and back the F@#k off. I did actually loose some about 10 kgs, but that wasn’t good enough for him. He understands now how hard it is to loose it. So he is happy now only brings it up when he is in a mood and we are fighting.
Well girls I really didn’t think I would make it to work! But i am at work not too sure how long i will last! I was brushing my teeth and started to :barf:.
Feel really sick. want to go home to bed. everytime i close my eyes i feel like the room is spinning and I am dizzy.

Oh yes the weight issue. my mil has often suggested that if i had lost some then i would fall pregnant (of course it has nothing to do with the fact i have pcos! duh) i also have insulin resistance and have always found it hard to loose weight. even when i was in high school no matter what size i was i still had a lot of belly fat.
anyways, connor just came in saying 'oh oh oh oooo' i better go check

Hey hun do we have the same mother in law??
Mine is the same. No matter how much i tell her that i have a problem, she doesn't listen and keepstelling me that i need to loose weight.

Im lucky in that my MIL is really overweight as well, so she just sympathises, haha.
I guess I dont really struggle with people noticing me losing weight as I know how big I am and have made peace with it. Im actually thrilled when people notice. BUT, I can understand your perspective and can just say {hugs}. Push past it, pay no notice, whatever you need to do to continue losing without being hindered by others comments. You can so do it!
Katie and MM, are you on metformin at all? Its a lot easier to lose when on the meds...
Having said all that, I am having a guilt trip for eating SO much bday cake from last night (Dhs bday)....gotta work it off tonight!!!

Hi girls,
Well here i am back in my own house.....and not enjoying it at all. I woke up at 6am expecting Eloise to jump into my bed and yell "TASHI"! But she didnt.....:crying:
There was no Kristi to sit up late with and there was NO charlie to nurse or burp or bath.........:crying:
I cryed the whole way home on the plane, the virgin staff were offering me tissues and then i caught the train home and cryed the whole way home and when dh picked me up there was nothing but tears.......i told him that i missed him! (BIG FAT LIE!!) I have come back to mil saying "when are you coming to the pub, when are you going to start work........:ecomcity:"
So having a sh*t of a day, very sad to have left my wonderful family at townsville! :gloomy:
