View Full Version : 22mth old and newboen- what pram suits?
Hi number 2 is due in July and toddler will be 22mths. I need a pram that suits both. I have tried the doubles and tandems ( a few friends have done this) but it doesn't suit. Tried the Phil 'n Ted and came across too many probs getting bubs in and out, adjusting the back and accessing the storage. So far am looking at Love n Care Europa and Emmaljunga City Cerox 360 with toddler seat. Has anyone got either of these or any other recommendations? Hsuband has given carte blanche on budget so we want a good one!

Hi, I asked this same question a couple of weeks back and didn't get that many replies, but some people did reply and say that 3 wheeler with toddler seat was the go (I think, from memory).
I am waiting until the new Steelcraft Strider comes out (due out this month) as you can get a toddler seat for it and I think this will suit us. It is supposedly the same as the current Strider 4 (so is a 4 wheeler).
Sorry I don't know anything about either pram you asked about.

My DS will be 20 months when the next baby is born and I have just put on lay-by a Swallow Lite Limo (http://www.bubhub.com.au/reviewtest/products/5.html) pram.
It seemed easy enough to move around the store, not too heavy and DS was happy enough in it.
My DS likes the stroller and still likes to layback, so a toddler seat doesn't suit us.
I love the side by side prams, but when I took one for a test run in a store it was too awkward getting it through doors etc and took up way too much space in the boot.

I have also wondered about having a toddler seat where the older child does not have the option of lying back. I am hoping to get around this by carrying bub in a sling if Kieran wants to lie down if we are ever out for a long time. He doesn't really lie down much anymore though so it hopefully won't be an issue very often.
