obstetricians on the Gold Coast

Hi I am looking for a great obstetrician on GC. I live at Elanora so John Flynn would be best for hospital. Had a beautiful doctor in Brisbane for baby 1 but is a little far to drive back. Please help.

I'm sorry i dont know any. I actually moved up here from sydney in dec 04 & would you believe i still have not found a Dr i like for myself... I want a female Dr... & i cant find any... maybe you could go to the Dr's maybe they can refer you to a good one

HI, I had both my boys at Pindara. My obstetrician was Benjamin Bopp. He actually delivered my boys and I would not even consider going to somebody else with the next one. He was fantastic, quite young and laid back, but so proffessional. :thumbsup: Good luck with your search.

I have heard so many good things about Dr Stephen Bott, that I will be looking him up when I have #2. I think he mainly works out of Pindara, but goes to John Flynn as well.

I work as a nurse at Allamanda and would recommend Andrew Davidson At John Flynn who also does under water births or Andrew Carey at Pindara. Both are excellent Doctors and really wonderful human beings.
If you want a female then Dr Penny Isherwood at Pindy is good.

I went to Johm Flynn and was very happy with the hospital and Dr Davidson. From what I remember the doctors at John Flynn are Dr Davidson, Dr Doolap and Dr Dutt.

Dr Davidson's midwife is great and the office is very friendly, I would go there again.

HI, I had my son 8.5 months ago at Pindara Hosiptal and Andrew Cary delivered my beautiful son after 24 hours labour. All the dotors at Pindara are great.

I would highly recommend Dr Davidson at John Flynn also. He delivered my son last May. I can't help but rave about the guy.
I had a second degree tear also, which healed really well due to him. :yelclap:

His office staff are awesome also. I enjoyed my stay at John Flynn too, the midwives there were great, and we always were able to talk to someone when we needed them most, ie; lactation consultants, etc.

It was a very very positive time for my husband and I. :thumbsup:

I am using Dr. Penny Isherwood for mine.

She is a lovely lady. Also the only female Ob on the Gold Coast that I could find. Though I limited my search to ones that were associated with medibank.

For those who are looking for a female OBGYN there is a Dr Miriam Lee who works out of the same suites at Pindara as Dr Michael Flynn, Dr Ben Bopp etc.

Has anyone heard of Dr Dunne? He works from Pindara and Gold Coast Hospital and his fees are really low. I'm hoping that someone might have used him before and can tell me what he's like. All of the Obs that my friends have recommended are not taking new patients so I have to wing it with an unknown...
