View Full Version : Feedback about the Mountain Buggy Breeze?

Just wanting some feedback about the Mountain Buggy Breeze. I'm looking for a 3 wheeler pram that I can walk with, but as I have limited boot space I need a compact one for when I want to put it in the car, and the Breeze seems to fit the size criteria. Has anyone got one? And do you like it? Or do you hate it? Overall it looks great, and DS looked comfy in it (I popped him into one when looking at the baby shop). Only real concern I have is the fixed front wheel. Is this annoying? I thought on the odd occasion where I might want to use it when shopping then the fixed wheel might be a pain. As it's not a cheap pram I want to make sure I'll be happy with it. Any feedback would be much appreciated :)

TIA!

I have the MB urban and when the wheel locks (it does itself sometimes) it drives me NUTS!!

For that amount of money go the Urban and get the swivel wheel. It's such a great pram, you won't be dissapointed.

I have the older version - got it almost 4 years ago and it's still going strong for my second child who is 14months. The newer ones are even better!

I have an Urban Elite and love it. I can push it with one finger if needed (that's how easy it goes). And it is pretty compact when folded. I think you can even take the back wheels off easily to make it fit, although we don't need to, we just pop it straight in the boot folded up.

I also have the MB urban elite and I love it. I have a small car (corolla) and it fits in my boot fine. I very rarely lock the front wheel, so I'm not sure how a fixed front wheel would go.

Thanks for the replies guys. As much as I like the Urban it just does not fit in my car :hair:. I tried it at the baby shop and it's too long, that's why I'm looking at the Breeze. *sigh* I really don't know what to do. I think the fixed front wheel will bother me. Anyone else out there that has a Breeze and wish to comment? Pleeeeeeeeeease? :D

Did you wheel it around the store? That's a good way to get a feel for it. Put your ds in it and go for a long 'drive' around the store, out the front door (with permission of course) and up & down over a gutter. See what it feels like. It looks great and I'm sure it's still better than a lot of the other prams out there at the moment.

It looks really nice. I wish I had one! I find my MB Elite a bit heavy and don't really use it anymore because it's too hard to deal with.

Yeah, I gave it a bit of a test drive in the store with DS in it, though I didn't take it for a spin outside (but I think the store wouldn't like them being pushed outside 'coz when we went to try it in the boot of my car the sales woman made sure it didn't touch the ground ). Anyhow, when I wheeled it around in store that's where I thought that maybe the fixed front wheel might be a bit of a pain 'coz turning tight corners didn't seem so easy (therefore would be a pain in the bum when at the shops). Straight walking was great, but then again, I suppose that's what it is designed for, walking outdoors.

Yeah, the weight and 'slimline' design of it is fantastic, and it fits into the boot of my lil' hatchback perfectly .

Oh, decisions decisions! I just hate the thought of spending the money on it and then hating it. It's not a cheap pram, and I've already spent good money on another pram (I have a Quinny Buzz and it's great for shopping/ indoors but useless for walking outside), so my DH would kill me if I end up buying the MB Breeze and then not using it :D.

Thanks again guys for your thoughts and feedback :flowerz:.

LOL - I had to get a new car.....nothing was going to fit into my old car!

We ended up getting a MB Urban Elite and we love it :)
