Hello ladies

Looks like the BH ladies have convinced me to get my girl a grobag for winter.

Does anyone know which tog i should get her...the heat rating as her room the past few nights has been pretty cold. Also what should she wear underneath...and does she need a blanket on top as well?

Thanks

Hey LS,

I think for winter if it is cold you're best getting a 2.5 tog one. They give you a little card telling you the temps and what to wear at each temp.

They don't recommend using a blanket on top of the grobag, although I do it :o

I do too, I dont know why they say you shouldnt

only when its real cold though, otherwise its just the suit and the oil heater on VERY low, just enough to take chill off the air. I usually put dd in a long sleeve jumpsuit/pj's too, with a singlet and socks underneath.
It gets VERY cold here, it was 1 degree outside when I woke up thismorning

For the middle of winter last year, B had a singlet, a bonds coverall, and a pair of flannel pj's with her 2.5T grobag. :) Snug as a bug :) I did heat the room on the really cold nights with her oil heater, but she was really warm otherwise.

I loved her grobags...too bad she's too big for them now :(

Just wanted to ask how long I should wait after bub is born to start using the Grobag? Can you use it from birth or should I wait a few months?
