How to know if too tight?? Take 2!

I posted this just before but then accidentally closed the thread. D'OH!!

Just a quickie..... how do you know if the nappy is on too tight around the waist???

Sometimes I think I've put the nappy on Cameron too tight because when he sits up, his tummy hangs over the nappy a fair bit. However if I loosen it so that his tummy doesn't hang over as much, his poos "escapes" and runs up his back!!!

I have my DD's nappy done up fairly snugly...otherwise as you said, there tends to be leakage. I think your bub will let you know if he's uncomfortable at all:)

I wouldn't be too worried unless he's getting red marks around his waist, then you'd be able to tell if you're doing it too tightly. Our two had belly pudges over the top of their nappies too ;)

I have to agree bubs will let you know if its too tight so make sure they are really snug & go from there !
