Hi, Just found out we are expecting twins due on 16th Oct. Little shocked at first but very excited now. Our little boy will be just 2 when these other bundles arrive. Any one got any ideas about a double pram that will take a toddler seat also. Would appreciate any ideas. Thanksl:smiliedance:

Congrats! I don't know that I can help with the pram though, we have one of the stretch limo style double pram and I hate it, it's horrid to steer. I really wish I'd gone with our original idea of the 3 wheel jogger with a toddler seat.... hindsight is a wonderful thing!
Nat was one month of two when our second bub came along, PJ is now one and Nat nearly 3 and they get along and play together really well!

There is another lady on here expecting twins. Maybe you can talk! Her name is Lisa(fablis) if my memory is correct.
Congrats btw. I always thought twins would be so fun!

Congratulations!!

I have no advice really, but a friend of mine had twins last year (she already has a 4 & 10yo) and found that she relied alot on family and friends to help, esp because she needed a c/s

Hope you have a fantastic pregnancy!
God bless.

Congrats on the twins that so cool as for the pram I did see a twin side by side 3 wheeler pram with a toddler seat but this was 5 years ago when I had my last bub so I have no idea where I saw it or how much it was sorry but thought I'd let you know they are out there just a matter of searching. I would get in contact with the multiple births association as they will know for sure.;)

Hi there, Congrats! You can get a Valco Runabout Twin (side by side) which will also take the toddler seat at the front!

Congratulations!! I have twins- 19 months now- and they are great! I was not impressed at all to discover I was expecting twins- I thought they would be a nightmare- but, to my delight- they have been wonderful- they are lots of fun!!

Enjoy your pregnancy and get lots and lots of rest- if you are going to carry them to term, the most important thing you can do is make sure you rest, don't stress and eat.

The best book I read when I was pregnant was called 'Twins' it should be the normal bookstores- it was written by two twin mummies- so it's very practical.

If you need any help, advice about products or just someone to ask how it is- feel free to PM me.

Oh- the other thing to be certain of is to know what you want out of your birth- and make sure your care provider (OB) is on the same page- don't let them tell you what you should be doing- and if he/she tries to not encourage you in your birth decisions I would find another care provider!!

Congratulations again!!!:smiliedance: :smiliedance:

Hi there

I am also expecting twins in October (6th). Have already got 3 gorgeous kids - 3, 2 and 1 so I am going to have my hands full.

If you are wanting a reliable pram then go for the fitnesswise double pram!! It is excellent. We have one and ordered in the booster seat that sits at the front. It is like a bike seat for kids but it locks in at the front of the pram!! You will never regret it - it is fantastic.

Congratulations on your news too - hope you can share with me your experiences - would love to hear from you!:)

:smiliedance: OH MY GOD !!! I thought I was going to have my hands full with one 2 year old when the twins arrive. Hope your pregnancy is going well and you are not too tired with all the work involved with your other 3 !!!. I'm going okay would be really great except for a sore back but this has improved a little. However my OB predicts I'm going to be very uncomfortable further along !! How nice of him to remind me. Are you having a scan soon ? Hubby & I will find out the sexes if they can tell us on the day - we already had our big surprise with news of the twins. Thanks for your advice on the pram also.
