I just wanted to say that if you want to go private to give birth I would have to recomend going with the Sunnybank Private Hospital! They are fantastic and if need be, they can do c-sections on the premisis...NOTHING IS A PROBLEM...
The staff are fully trained and just wonderful! They do not try and kick you out asap...
I would highly recomend it I have only EVER heard good things about it (of course there may be some of you out there who dont agree, and thats ok! :smiliedance: But I found them to be just wonderful!).
As per the Mater...well, lets just say that I have heard that it is big and impersonal...and just plain NOT NICE...when you have just given birth you want to be treated (should I say PAMPERED!) NICELY and made to feel like you did a great job! I have had many people tell me they did not enjoy their experience there whether it was private or public!
Some had to fight with anesthesists (cant spell) and drs to get the right treatment...again...when you are in there doing your thing you dont want to be doing that EXTRA STRESS ON YOU AND HUBBY AND BUBS!! HELLOOO!! :D
So, hope this has helped somewhat! :bee: If you are in the southen region of Brisy THINK SUNNYBANK PRIVATE!!! They have a OBGYN and Anesthetist right accros the road! :shakehands:
