I have a bit of background information to tell everyone aswell, but please refer to this pic...

Lately I've been having over 30 day cycles.
I started taking OPK's on CD9 as that's what it says in the leaflet. As you can see, CD9 is pretty non existant.
Then on CD10 it is way clearer to see. CD11 is even more clearer and darker.
I wrote the times which I took the tests. They are all pretty close I guess, except for todays one which I did at 5.30pm after drinking a cup of tea. I will do another one at 7pm like most of the others.
Oh! And you can look at my chart too. It's the only one I have as I just started.
My questions are...
Even though the lines seemed dark, would I have O'd even though I have over 30 day cycles?
I think I felt O pains yesterday. They feel a little mild today (if that's what I can feel)
I didn't BD those 2 days. Tonight is the first chance I get to, and even then I don't think we will as DP finishes work at 1am and won't get home until about 1.30am.
WHAT DO ALL OF YOU LADIES THINK?
AM I JUST OVER REACTING?
I JUST REALLY DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT THIS MONTH. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HATE MYSELF FOR NOT GIVING IT A PROPER GO.

It's a bit more clear.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't tell me that you think I O'd.
I will be absolutely gutted!

the test strip has to be as dark or darker then the control strip.
if the test strip is darker then yes you have o'ed if not then maybe not yet.

So it doesn't matter if some days its darker then others?

:iagree:
If you're currently on 30 day cycles, you will most likely be Oing on CD 16-17. If this is the case, I'd say most likely not as you are still only on CD12! Don't forget OPK's arnt like HPTs in the sense that a "line is a line." For OPK's to be + the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line
In my experience fertility charts are clearer, but it takes a couple of months, as you don't know til after you've o'd. However, that OPK looks like mine when I ovulated, it got darker and then lighter again but was never really impressive. The ferning lens didn't change either for me, so I didn't think I'd ovulated, but oops, I did. You might have a long luteal phase, or even ovulate twice in a cycle, so cycle length isn't necessarily an indication. My cycles were vaguely 30 days and I ovulated on day 11, unexpectedly. I reckon you can spontaneously pop out an egg from having too much fun, [which may be why women with lovers are way more likely to conceive their lover's child than their husbands...].

Well I did another one at 7pm.
It looks similar to CD10 and CD11.
I'm only concerned because CD9's was hardly even visable.
Does the line get darker as you get closer or what?

Does looking at my chart help any?
My temps are all over the place. How do I know when it is an O rise?
The few high temps I have on FF are because I took my temp later then I usually do.
Only a few times I haven't taken my temp at my normal time.
Oh and I don't have much CM really...
Is that a problem too?

i dont think you've o'd the lines arent dark enough and if you have 30 day cycles you wont o till a bit later, it doesnt matter if there are lines they have to be as dark or darker then the control line so dont stress too much

I just don't want to miss O this month.
I'm sure you all remember what a nut case I was last month.
Imagine how I will be if I just let O slip through my hands!?!?!?!?!
I don't even want to think about it lol
From your chart I'd say draw your line at about 36.7 and count three temps above that as indication of ovulation, which could be any time now. The OPK gets darker as it gets closer to ovulation and then goes down again. My OPK didn't get all that dark and there was no mucous at all, and I'd taken antihistamines all that weekend and still fell pregnant. If you BD every other day you'll give yourself the best chance.

Thanks.
Does it have to be 36.7+ at the time I usually take my temp?
I just took it now just to check and it is 36.78
I keep looking at my OPK's and CD11's is clearly the darkest of them. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope I didn't miss O.

Its pretty safe to say you havent o'd yet according to your chart and opks are nowhere near +, so dont worry. The LH in your system fluctuates daily, so yes, some days may be darker than others...its only when you have a SURGE of LH...thats what causes the + on the opk. You may have a "ramp-up", where the opks get progressively darker the closer you get, or you may have a stark neg one day and blaring + the next...every woman is different. All that to say, no, I highly doubt you have o'd yet, so dont stress! :)
Good luck!

Thanks ladies.
I've been putting them in as negative on FF.
I just wanted to make sure. This is only the second month of using them.
