Hi,

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
I have had to remove all air freshners from my house as the smell makes me physically sick.
Also can't stand the smell of meat pies and sausages.
Regards
Jane
Hi Jane, is this just cause you're preg or in general?
I had the strong smell thing for a while but it's gone now.

Hi,
Yes I am 9 weeks pregnant. Never had a problem with strong smells before. Hope it will not last long.

You know the unfortunate thing - my sister had to take the train when she was pregnant - said peoples body smells and food was almost the end of her - i too catch the train and dearly wish to fall pregnant - just that thought drives me off wanting to train it when preggers- id rather walk!

Hi - I know how you feel and I am not even pregnant yet!! I hate air fresheners, ground coffee, and ESPECIALLY vanilla scented things (I always get trapped between someone drinking fresh coffee and someone who *bathed* in vanilla impulse on the tram.
I get physically ill from these smells - even some shampoos!!!!
Can't wait till I'm pregnant!

I couldn't STAND the smell of coffee during my first 2 trimesters. I also couldn't stomache certain foods/beverages that I usually love ie tea. Luckily, all that seemed to pass by the 20th week, and I no longer had to avoid coffee shops, and all the people at work! LOL:laughing:
I'm very sensitive with smells too. I was in a baby shop the other day and really needed to ask the sales lady a question about a car seat, but her perfume was so horrible I couldn't. As soon as she came within about 10 feet of me I nearly keeled over
I'll go back another time, hopefully she won't be there then.
Getting stuck in a lift with smelly people is the worst! No escape.
yep i HATED air freshners when i was pregnant!
also my deoderant, i had to stop using and washing powders :barf:
couldnt be too strong in scent
