He was born naturally, yes ouch!!! He was 9 days overdue, OP and required forcepts to get him out due to stress. :( It just isn't right to see a baby that size in the special care nursery.
It was my first time and will never be induced again, if it wants to stay in there a little longer let it.

I ended up being induced (which i don't agree with) and having every drug they could throw at me before she was delivered by forceps due to stress. If i could do it all over again, i wouldn't go through a midwife programme and i wouldn't go to Canberra Hospital. I was wanting a birth that i was in control of but it didn't end up that way.

Only help with pain was some of that gas but I was told that when I went through the transistion they turned off the nitrate so I only had that for 5 minutes.

So almost drugless birth.
Also she was backwards
Quick labour but very painful.
Just incase you don't want to know I tore in 4 directions as her head didn't squish at all.
It took about 15 minutes at the pushing phase.

28 hr labour and a complicated birth with epidural, episiotomy, ventouse and bad tearing... (i got sick in labour and do became distressed by whole thing!!). I hope next bubs is easier.. :fingerscrossed:
