Hi there :shakehands:

I am a student midwife and I have just relocated to Brisbane. I am currently looking for pregnant women who would be interested in letting me spend some time with them during their pregnancy, so that I can learn about their own unique experience.

As part of my studies, I meet with pregnant women in the community and to date it has been a very rewarding experience. I can be someone for you to talk to, find info for you, be a birth support (if wanted) and just be someone else to share your experience with and have a cuppa with!

My name is Caz and I have 2 kids of my own. So if you are interested, please let me know and good luck with your pregnancies! :)

I won't be transferring cause I am ahead of Banyo, given that they only started the BMid this year - I looked at transferring to UQ, but the curriculum is very different, and I would have had to repeat a lot - I only have the prac classes to do now, and a tiny bit of theory - the theory is online anyway, but the pracs I can only do in Melb.

Oh of course they are behind  I didn't even think of that!!

Yeah, UQ is harrrrrrd only because we teach ourselves. It is all research based. I did a year nursing last year at QUT and could only get credit for my prac.

Anyways, have fun!!

HI Caz,
My name is rebecca, and I am pg with my second little one due on the 6th July, so I am 25 weeks... I currently have nobody looking after me as I just moved to the south side of brissy and I am waiting for the hospital to get back to me. I was just going to do full care by the midwifes as I find doctors really dont care about me etc and have never found one that I am happy with..
Anyway you can pm me or contact me on becbeyer@hotmail.com if you want to talk more..
Good luck..

Hi Caz,

I am curently 23 weeks pregnant with my second child :) and I am trying to achieve a VBAC birth after previously experiencing a c-section that I later found out wasn't truely necessary, BUT I seem to be experiencing a few problems. I am hoping that you would be able to contact me so that I can work towards achieving this as my Ob's seems to have started to change his mind and I'm becoming a little stressed.

You can email me at blitz75@optusnet.com.au if you are interested in offering your services:fingerscrossed: .

Regards,
Megan
