I was really shy to start with as well but the girls brought that out really quick hehe.

I'm not sure on times yet just waiting to hear backfrom the others but i would be happy to meet up with you on wednesday if you want.

Our meets are normally in the morning.

Welcome. Would love to see you at one of our meets. I have been in Townsville since October. I also have 2 kids, DD 19 months who has just become a big sister to DS who is 2 weeks old. We usually meet on Thursdays but on other days to when it doesnt suit people. There is also usually a weekend meet, you should jump on the weekend meet thread and check it out. I'm a newbie to Townsville as well, been here 4 months and have a 9 week old gorgeous baby girl. I'm in the same boat as you!

No family or friends here, they're all in Brisbane so it's been hard, especially being away from my Mum.

Would love to meet some other local Mums as well, haven't had a chance as I haven't worked since we moved here so it's hard to meet people.

Can anyone tell me how I find out about local meetings etc, or suggest any good ones?
