8 week 3 day scan

Hi.
Im having a scan tomorrow at my first OB appointment. Im just wondering if we might be able to see (not hear) bubs heartbeat?
What else would they be looking for?

at 8 weeks u wil def see heartbeat :D they will prob measure the gest sac as well as bub 2 check growth & figure out a due date:) congrats & good luck

We saw a flicker of the heartbeat at 6 weeks :)

They will look to see that it has implanted and started to develope in the uterus properly (make sure it isn't in a tube etc) and look for the fetal pole :)

I actually had a scan last week at 8 weeks 3 days and could see a strong little heart beat beating away.. it was great...

I went into hospital as i has some pains and slight bleeding and was excpecting the worse, i was told it might be hard to see a heart beat.... but as soon as the doc put the thingy on it came up straight away!!!!

Hi all.
Well I had my scan yesterday and it was amazing. The OB saw the heartbeat straight away and said its healthy. He said going by the scan Im 9.5 weeks, but we are calling it 8 weeks 6 days, but im 9 weeks tomorrow anyway. Cant wait for my 12 week scan! :yelclap:
