hi all
I had a chemical pregnancy in January. Yesterday I found out I was pregnant again. I am so scared Im going to have another chemical pregnancy.
Does anyone know if my chances are higher to have another chem pregnancy? Or will I most likely have a healthy bubba?
Any experiences?

thanks one mummy and lissa!
Lissa a chemical pregnancy is where you test and it is positive, but then the lines slowly get fainter, and your "period" comes a little bit later than usual. So a very, very early miscarriage.

oh okay thank you
Well I guess I have had one of those but never realised it's actual medical name. The first month we starting TTC that happened to me also.
Good luck with it all I'm sure all good things will come your way now :flowerz:

I had a blighted ovum pregnancy inbetween my DD and DS. I had similar worries to you - as in would my next pregnancy be okay - well I need not have worried because I had an early ultrasound at 6 weeks (to ease my mind) and there before me was the most gorgeous sight of my little son, with flickering heartbeat...the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. :cloud9: :flowerz:
Every pregnancy is different, and I am sure that this time things will be just perfect for you too. Best of luck with everything! :flowerz: And a very big congratulations! :smiliedance: :yelclap:

I probably had one- had a BFP and a week later started bleeding- they said I MC, I didn't get a period after that, and hav a beautiful 6yo born 9 mnths later.
Had similar thing this time, only I didn't get a BFP, but my period was 2 weeks late, and all the symptoms, than got period, and 3 weeks later had a BFP- now 20 wks pregnant-lol.
So for me I guess they are a sign that all is ready to be pg- lol.
Wishing you the best of luck and CONGRATULATIONS

One in 4 or 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage... take comfort in the fact that you've had your one, 4 or 5 safe ones on the way for you  In my warped mind I can almost justify it to be of comfort anyway....
Each pregnancy is different. The best thing you can do is get plenty of rest and have positive thoughts.
Good luck!

If you chart and know what day you concieved it might be reassuring to know that the earlier you implant after ovulation the better your chances of it sticking. Ie day 7 babies are more likely to stick than day 10 babies.
This is really only for the truly obsessive!
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10362823?dopt=Abstract
"first appearance of HCG (implantation) occurred 6-12 days after ovulation 84% of the pregnancies implanted on days 8-10 after ovulation early pregnancy loss increased with later implantation -
implantation early pregnancy loss rate
13% by day 9
26% on day 10
52% on day 11
86% on day 12 or more"
You're already half way there; your ovaries work, your tubes are patent and the boy's sperm are swimmers! Good luck!
