Hey girls

Ive been temping each morning, and last night I woke up 3 hours before I usually do, and took my temp. This whole time I was freezing as my hubby had taken the blanket, and my temp was really low! I didnt get out of bed at all the whole time, I barely moved. I just waited for my hubby to get back to bed to go to sleep.

Now after I had got the blanket back I slept for another 3 hours with a blanket covering me, took my temp again and it was .4 of a difference. This time was closer to my usual time of taking my temp, but I had only had 3 hours sleep.

Do you think I could use the second temp? Do you think the first one could of been low because I was really cold?

I was just reading about that in fertility friend actually.
I think the general idea is to stick to your normal waking time, unless you've been doing it so long that you know what's normal.
I haven't been testing for very long myself, which is why I was reading the faqs.

I would use the second reading, sounds like the first one was affected by how cold you were; and 3 hours makes a difference too.

Good luck!

Thanks hun, I shall use the second one. If I had gotten up and moved around I think the temp rise would have been because of that, but I hardly moved at all!

Thanks again

They say after 3 hours of consecutive sleep is best, and even better that it was at your normal waking time. So the 2nd temp to me sounds like it would be more accurate.

Good luck! Your twin boys are very cute :D

I agree with M2M...I would record your second temp. :)
