Hi
I was measuring 2 weeks ahead all along up until 2 weeks ago. The doc has never made a big deal about it. I was hoping it would mean that I'd go 2 weeks early but I'm still stuck here:D

I was 36 weeks measuring 41.
I was sent for a ultra sound and found that everything is fine and bubs is not huge and the fluid is within the normal range too.
So it was a relief, Dr didnt really know why the fundus was bigger than dates but was happy with the ultra sound outcome.

From about 28 weeks, I measured ahead of dates with both the kids...

With DS, I was measuring around 40wks at about 37wks - and my Ob was starting to get a little worried. I think it was just the way DS was sitting that day...

HI

I had this with my second as well..... My dates were changed so much i never knew what to go with. In the last few months i was always 2 wks ahead, i was terrified i was going to have a big baby......in the end she was born 2 weeks early at 38 weeks and was 8'' 4. The MW said she was truely cooked!!! Im interested to see what happens with #3.....* smiles* Im sure if it gets too out of wack the doc will send you for a quick scan just to check!

I'm 21 weeks and measuring 24cm. It was the same with DD, I was 38cm at 33 weeks and HUGE. The hospital made me have several ultrasounds then because I was "too big". This time I have refused any extra.
The top of my uterus is just near my belly button, so right where it should be.

At 30 weeks appt I was measuring 34cm. The doc thinks it's going to be a big baby. My first one was 4kg so I wouldn't be surprised.
My belly is not huge though  See what happens next week.

At my 20 week appointment i was 26cm. My middy said it was fine to be 2-3 cm bigger with my 2nd or 3rd, but 6 was a bit much. so sent me off for a GCT(as i had had my ultrasound a day earlier anyway, but she didn't have the results yet.) But as i haven't heard back, i take it all was ok!

I can't wait for my 26 week appointment to see what i am measuring!

BTW, i had a 4.5 kg baby first time round and i measured to date the whole way through... 2nd time was a 3.9kg baby and he was measuring 2cm ahead most of the way through! ROFL... so size isn't all it is cracked up to be IMO!

with DD1 i was the opposite, i always measured under by 2 - 3 weeks then when i got to 37 (i think it was around then) i stopped and stayed at 37 till 42 weeks.
i don't know where the heck she was hiding, she was 9lb7

DD2 i was measuring ahead 2 weeks, then at around 36 weeks i measured full term, DD2 was born at 40 weeks and was 9lb1

so one i was ahead 2 weeks other i was under 2-3 weeks, and both were around the same size
