blue veins in breast

hey guys I was just wondering if prominent blue veins are a positive sign for pregnancy? I have never been able to see the veins in my breast until recently. Im 15 days late for my period and have other symptoms as well. they include tender/sore breast, as well as the veins, cramping, and tiredness. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly!

Have you done a test yet? Because that was one of my first signs, the veins in my breasts.

yah I've taken 2 hpt's day 1 and day 2 or missed period... have a doc appt on tuesday. my bestfriend had veins when she was preg with her daughter so I'm worried that I'm preg too. I could never see the veins before and now i can

I would say youre definitely preggie. With my first the doc just asked to examine my breats (it was a woman btw lol) and just from that she could tell I was preggie...

thanks guys.... Im scared to test agian because i keep getting BFN's but i hope hope hope I'm preggie!!! Im still wondering if anything else can make my veins appear???? anyone know????

Sounds like your pregnant allright. I don't know of anything else that would cause your symptoms.

Hey afraid18 in the last couple of days I have had blue veins appear in my BB's and can see them stretch across my shoulders. I can also see one in my stomach leading down to the top of my leg. I have heard that this is a positive sign but am only 6DPO so trying not to get too excited! The only other explaination I can come up with is that I have been going to the gym and maybe working out has made them more prominent? I hope not :fingerscrossed:

Hey afraid18 it sounds as if you might be pregnant. The early signs I had were:

Sore boobs especially around nipples
Bleeding gums
Hungry beyond compare
Slightly tired
Emotional (up & down like a yo-yo)
Felt bloated
Sore back
Itchy tummy

These were all early so imagine what the rest of the pg was like. I used the crystal clear home test with all 7 of my pg's. Good luck and keep us posted. It is common to get spotting throughout your pg. My mum had af all throughout her pg:hugs:

thank you, i just used to bathroom and i'm bleeding a little more than spotting....very bad cramps. breast still hurt and veins still very prominent.....so could i be having my period at 16 days late or can i still be preg??

You can. Once you get a blood test from your gp they will inform you if you are pg or if you were pg (touch wood). This unfortunately happen last time I was pg. I did a home test and it showed with a faint line then I went to the gp and did a blood test which showed I was pg then I went for and u/s and it didn't show anything. The doctors result was that I m/c again. I have heard though of tons of women that have had af the whole way through pg.

thank you very much..... the veins on my breast is one of the main reasons i think im preg, because i heard that if your never see your veins and then they appear prominent on both breast then thats a for sure sign your preg.. that nothing else can cause that.... do you know if thats true or not??? i heard of you have them on one breast it can mean cancer... but i have on both breast!

oh yah and i forgot to mention that i have ovarian cysts and i was having alot of pain from them last night so they may of popped and me bleed bc of that..... i'm having fluttering in my stomach is that normal.......? IF i am havin my af i never get fluttering in my stomach......cyst?... preg????.... af??? anyone got advice?
