I dont think its a silly question either :) you will find though towards the end of your pregnancy that waxing will hurt heaps more though only as things seem more sensetive (it hurts like 5 times as bad lol)

There's some debate about the safety of hair dyes in pregnancy, and a lot of hairdressers won't actually do them because hair dye doesn't seem to 'take' to your hair when you're pregnant, but mostly its thought to be safe.

As for a wax - if you're game, go for it. As other posters have mentioned, you're likely to experience more pain because of the increased blood-flow to the genitals during pregnancy, but if you can cope with that, its all good :)

I dont know the ins and outs of it all.. but as far as I know waxing is ok but i have been told to avoid hair dye in pregnancy? again i dont know specifically why but thats what i have read in a lot of preg books and been told by other people!

Hi there.
From what I understand hair dye used to have an ingredient in it that had a slight chance of being absorbed through the scalp and pass through your blood stream. Now its made with different ingredients so is safe..
Enjoy you new hair do!!:)

Had both things done right throughout my pregnancy. Dyes used these days are no where near as strong as they use to be.
