when ever i hear someone is ff their baby i feel sad.. wtf is going on, i ff my dd's.....
ds is going well now at 8 weeks, i just think bf is so much easier, and convenient, i have no idea why i feel anything about another mothers choice... anyone else do this?

Yep Im exactly like that to. Its hard to switch off that feeling when you know that b/f is best for bub (except for those that it is physically impossible for)
Well i have only had one child and he had formula and was breastfed till 13 months. But anywho i had to laugh at your thread, maybe you are becoming like a reformed smoker you know how a lot of the times the reformed smokers dislike smokers even more! lol Maybe you are a reformed formula feeder!

 lol, i dont dislike ff's.... just dont see why anyone would want to get out of bed, walk to the kitchen, make a bottle, then stay awake to feed bub... when yo can just pop a boob in their mouth and sleep while they feed:yes:

 oh I had to laugh at this thread!!!
I dont know why but that was just so unexpected.
I dunno what to say other than iam so glad breastfeeding is going well for your baby & you.:goodvibes:
What is you favorite thing about breastfeeding?? :valentine:
I can think of lots of thing's I find it gets more rewarding (for me) as they get bgger coz you can tell how much they love it!! :cloud9:
best of luck.:D
Yeah I've gotta say, that I don't understand how people think FF is more convenient. Since we moved to FF, it has been nothing but inconvenient! I loved just whacking the b00b out as required! Sigh, those were the days.

Yeah BJ, proud is an understatement :D :yelclap:
 I am a reformed ff as well. Bub #4 is my only breastfed bub, she is now 15 months and still breastfeeding. It does make me feel guilty about not bf my other bubs, but we all live and learn.

:yelclap: YAY for you BJ!
I know what you mean, I feel the same way but I FF my DS!!! With DD I am still BFing her after 9 months and I now feel really sad that I couldn't do the same for my son. Anyway.... :D
You are doing a great job :yelclap: it gets even easier and better too!!
You probally feel like that now because of the amazing bond you are sharing with your baby and know that you are giving her the best milk she can have and it makes you sad to know that some babies miss out (of course sometimes there is medical reasons but not always).
Congratulations, very proud of you here also!:D

Great work Bronny :yelclap:
It still stumps me when people say that FF is more convienant, just don't get it!! Now that i have Cooper on Formula, im that lazy i have him trained to drink it at rom temp so i just have the bottles next to my bed and when he wakes up i give him them!! lol!
No getting up and heating bottles in this house!!

I feel exactly the same when I see bubs drinking formula. And I think OneBlessing is right. I think it's because we enjoy the bond. I think that children should experience it.
Makes me sad to think that some mothers
"choose" to FF rather than BF.
thats great bronny jane im so happy for you that the BF worked out this time way to go
Wonder if next time i will be a bf nazi ROFLMAo that would be a turn of the tables lol
As for the bond ladies meeer can bond just as much with a IV fed and then Tube feeder let me tell you :yelclap:
Not argueing with you all just have to add that in as its SO true just ask my DD lol
:hugs: hugs brony thats great darl
I totaly agree with everyone here...Breastfeeding is by far the most wonderful thing you can ever do for your child.... It is their birth right, however it isn't always the case and i wanted to add that FF mothers also share beautiful bonds with their bubbas.... although not breastfed, holding them close and gazing into their eyes and watching their facial expressions are moments that can not be replaced.... There is a truly beautiful bond there... Well there was for me anyway... I have BF and FF...
I tip my hat of to successful breast feeders especially those who have really struggled with it and persevered when force fed the option of putting bubs onto formula... good on you!!
As for the OP... I've heard the breastfeeding Nazi comment alot on bubhub and i just want to say that there is nothing wrong about being passionate about breastfeeding and advocating it to others.... Obviously in a way that wouldn't upset or insult...
Your perfectly normal... i feel this way too sometimes and i FF...
As someone who has done both I think you are more likely to become a breastfeeding nazi because you have experienced both sides of the story .
I have only breastfed, without problems, so I don't really consider myself a breastfeeding nazi. I don't ever tell anyone its easy and that they can overcome their problems with it because I haven't experienced problems myself, and I don't give FF mums a dirty look because I don't know what they have been through, and even if I did know what they had been through, I don't know what that feels like anyway.
I love to give advice to people who want to continue to breastfeed in the face of adversity, but I always gauge how much they really want to continue before starting to make suggestions. I don't like giving advice to people who don't really want to continue, because in my experience they are the ones that get defensive and start making accusations about people being pushy etc.
Always use your powers for good not evil, I say

Some women don't actually want to BJ. And of course you don't dislike ff's - you have been one three times!!!
Seriously though, I'm really pleased for you. I hope you have a wonderful bf relationship with your little guy.:goodvibes:

Well done on successfully breastfeeding your bubba, BJ!
That feeling you are having, the one you don't quite understand? It's called pride. Pride in yourself for achieving this.:goodvibes::goodvibes::goodvibes:
Next you'll be taking photos of yourself breastfeeding and posting them in the Show us your breastfeeding photos thread! :D:D
