I just changed DS nappy and his tip of penis is really red he isnt circumcised yet should i take him to a doc or will it go away by itself? Does it sound like an infection?
Also do you clean under the skin or not while their young? No one has ever told me and DH is away!

Do not retract his foreskin. This is very important - if you pull it back, you will damage the head of his penis and you will introduce infection.
A bit of redness might just be that it was rubbing against the nappy, it is probably NOTHING. Just leave it alone. The problem that most intact boys have is that well-meaning adults keep messing with their perfect penis.
The foreskin is stuck to the penis, the same way our fingernails are stuck to the tips of our fingers. If you pulled back a fingernail completely away from the nail bed, it would hurt and it would cause infection, right? Exactly the same with penises.
If you are worried, give him a bath. A soak in the bath is all that is needed to clean a baby penis. Just like when you have a bath, or a shower, you don't really need to scrub under your nails because a good soak gets them nice and clean.
:hugs: Please don't stress - and don't pull back that foreskin. :hugs:

It's pretty normal to get a bit of redness, esp when they are in nappies. Circ'd or a la natural - same as baby girls can get a bit of redness from chaffing.
DS has it from time to time - but it freaked me out the first time (he is my only boy) and I had to ask too! He still has a good old play when it is red and it doesn't seem to bother him - so if it's not hurting, not bleeding or anything like that - i wouldn't worry. As said above - just give him a nice long bath tonight, and it should help.
