Ok - here is my story
We have 3 properties and 3 portfolio loans. We are currently living in a company house, and 2 of the houses are rented out, and my parents live in the other.
So....
We are going to sell the house my parents live in (they are moving away from the area). We hope to have $300,000 after capital gains etc.
We want to buy a house in Brisbane when we move back. We would like to use this $300,000 and also refinance the other 2 loans so we owe more on the rentals, and own the house we live in outright (better tax wise).
Is this something that can be done?? The loans on the other 2 houses would not quite be their full value.
Any advice would be appreciated :)
