Hi there Campbelltown mamas...

Just wondering how you all coped through the storm?

We HAD a huge gum tree out the front of our house...the biggest limb fell off it missing my bedroom by about an inch!!!!:crying: The back of our house flooded... we cant work out how as hubby climbed up into the roof and all the tiles are closed??? And poor bubs sat there the whole time asking if we were going to die.... my poor baby, how do you explain to them?????

Our neighbour is 38wks pregnant and we had to call an ambulance as the stress brought on early labour... their alarm wouldnt turn off and she was home alone with their 2 year old:crying:

Anyways, hope everyone else had little or no damage and your littlies coped through it!

Take care, Kobbles.

I guess being not as far down as you guys we did fine.
No major dramas here luckily !
This time last year ( ok actually a little earlier as i was still pg ) we had water gushing in our front window which was fun trying to watch me move the lounge etc. Then a few days later another storm & we had water coming through the roof into our stair well which was going straight into a light fitting !!! Awesome

Hope you guys are all ok !
Hopefully things get better tomorrow kobbles :hugs:

We didn't get all that much at our place (campbo) but at 3pm I drove over to pick chris up from work (mt carmel at varroville) and at woodbine it was hailing and as i drove thru raby etc, there were trees down every where, right thru peoples homes and all over the road. Chris said they got it really bad at school, trees down in the car park etc, it was bedlam when i picked him up!!!

You poor thing kobbles, i hope today is better!:fingerscrossed: let me know if there is anything i can do x

Im so glad everyone is ok!

Yes we are in Raby!

My grandad must have been looking out for us because by a stroke of luck one of the mums in a different class asked if we wanted a lift home... if I had have said no we would have been stuck walking home in it!

Yes Raby was hit VERY bad! My MIL lives in Minto and they only had a bit of rain and some lightening... we had hail the size of cricket balls!!!!

Taylor's Mum.... Im so scared of them too... bubs and Icamped out in the hallway (no windows, doors or skylights:D ) until it was over!!! So much damage for a 20minutes storm!!!

KateP Thank you for the offer. We a fine at the moment... so long as we dont get anymore rain!!!:fingerscrossed: Hubby had to go around and stab holes in all the eaves because they were full of water (roof would have colapsed if he hadnt have been home... again, my grandad was watching over us!!! )

Anyways, have to go. Take care!

Hubby is clearing the tree away today which is good... bub cries everytime he sees it because "Look at my poor tree, its dead"  Atleast bubs is healping with it so its not like its there one minute, gone the next iykwim?

Just a side note: My neighbour had a baby girl at 1:30am this morning!!!! YAY!!!:smiliedance:
