:yelclap: YAY it feels liek ive been waiting forever! just a question though? over easter do maternity hosps let u go hom early? as i have no idea weather or not the home maternity service midwives work ovr the public hols!:confused: oh well probably shpuld see it as a blessing if they dont as it will be an excuse to stay in longer:laughing: sorry if i sound like this :ecomcity::ecomcity:

Hospitals dont have public holidays.
With a first child they will let you stay up to 5 days with 2nd and consecutive babies you can go home whenever you like even as early as 3 hours after the birth and probably no longer than 2-3 days unless you have a c-section

different hospitals have different rules.. im having my 2nd baby and the hospital i chose wont let u go home until 6hours after the baby.. due to chance of heameraging.. (sp)

so it doesnt matter about the home maternity service for like the heel prick and stuff :confused: cause im stillintwo minds about wether i want to leave early or have a rest i guess ill see how i go!:thumbsup: thanks for the help :yes:
