Hope somebody might be able to help me. I am trying to get DD 7 months to take a bottle or sipper cup to have breast milk or formula. (or even some water!!) She won't have a bar of the bottle and all she does is use a sipper cup as a teething ring. My DS was exactly the same and would never have formula and will only have his cows milk flavoured and sometimes only when nothing else is offered and under sufferance. Any suggestions for DD????? :fingerscrossed:

Have you tried a straw cup? Or just a normal cup? My daughter would not drink from a sippy cup, but liked a glass... eventually she got the hang of a sippy cup though.

My son never took a bottle or sippy cup, but the straw cup was a winner. Well worth a shot, there are cheapies at the supermarkets called "dinkee" cups, in the tupperware type section.

Thanks guys. DS used a straw cup too, but DD is a lot younger than he was when I tried to wean him to go back to work. Don't know what to about the refusing of formula and water. I'll just keep persisting.
