Candy mentioned a weekend meet, which I think is a fab idea especially for the working mums!
So first up "who would be interested in this"??
Also, and this is just for a seperate meet:
"Who would be interested in maybe doing a family lunch in a park one weekend?" Bring along our Men and hope they all get along as well as we do:fingerscrossed::laughing:
Anyway, if people are interested then we will put up a poll with dates!

Great Mel! I think most of us would love weekend meets! Lets hope Im right!

I think both are a great idea.
I think the family picnic in the park might be nice for the babies 1st birthdays. and we could do the secret "baby". It would be nice to do it in august, once all the babies have had their birthdays.

Yes we would be interested in a weekend meet. We couldnt make it on a sunday though. But its a great idea to get all the guys to meet to :)
Id be up for both, but in regards to the "family meet" Lochie and I would come. Hubby wouldnt have a bar of it!! He generally works weekends anyway.
Tina - the idea of having their "birthday party" in August sounds like a good idea, that way we should all be able to make it rather than chosing a date in July that may clash with the family b'day parties etc.

:laughing: tara's and my dh are so similar... sterling wont be interested he's very antisocial when it comes to 'family day' or 'couples' things :rolleyes:
but yep definately for weekend meets, i dont want our group to fall apart because eventually more and more mums go back to work :no:
im happy to host a weekend meet at my place sometime as well, ill get dh to go to byron for the weekend or go play golf, that way we can still relax. actually i was going to see if you wanted the next meet at my place,now ive moved we've got a bit more room.

Yep I am up for it. Dh works weekends so I am usually home by myself wif da boys driving me mental.:laughing:
Tara and Candy. You shoud just say you want to go to a family picnic at the park and make it the day that the family meet will be. :laughing:
Wish I could make some of these meets. Blah at being so darn far away.

Ziggi and I are up to all suggestions. DH works weekends but I am used to going to weekend events on my own (with Miss Z of course). It does get hard to meet during the week when you are working.....so weekend events sound perfect for us!!

Where abouts in Bris are you? We quite often have meets during the week also at one anothers houses. Not sure when the next weekly one is tho (I have just returned to work :()

whereabouts do you live candy? not sure if we can make it yet - depends how far away you are! is is still for the guys aswell??
Candy lives at morningside, its either the first or 2nd exit on the south side of the gateway bridge, and then not even 5 mins off the exit :D
Hope you can make it - Not sure about the blokes coming or not?? It didnt look like many would actually come anyway I dont think, i think there was maybe only 2 or 3 that WOULD come (i cant be bothered reading back over the posts)

ummm... time... well i dont konw, its teh weekend so any time goes? it could be a morning/lunch thing like usual or a lunch/afternon thing- im easy why dont you all decide? or if its too hard to decide then we best just stick to the usuals

Looks like i'll be wearing myself thin on Saturday if i try and make the meet.
DP's workmate has a housewarming party that we're invited to that afternoon....apparently DP said we'd go about a week and a half ago and forgot to inform me. :rolleyes: So that on top of everything else that day.
So hopefully there will be another weekend meet really really soon that i can come too. :(
Just thinking about this weekend makes me wanna :sleeping: Gosh i sound like a nana! :laughing:

Hello everyone!!
Am sad to write that Zig and I wont be able to make it this weekend. DH and I are leaving Fri to go to Casuarina Beach Resort for a wedding (until Sunday). Zig is staying with Nanna and Nonno for 3 days and 2 nights!!!!! Mummy and Daddy will miss their little girl!!! Ziggi on the other hand will have an excellent time, she loves her Grands, she gets treated like a princess as you can imagine!
Have a great time. Don't forget to take pics and post them.

Mel and Linda - what a shame that you and your bubbas cant come. I havent seen you insuch a long time. :( I miss lil Nayte and Ziggy. would have loved to see how they are moving arround. :yes:

Sorry gals, we can't make it either.
Connor has swimming at 10.30 with Daddy and they won't be home until 12ish, by then Connor has a sleep and Daddy has to go back to work for the rest of the day. I won't be able to make him miss his sleep as he only has like two naps during the week and it's lucky he has one on a Saturday after his swimming and McDonalds with Daddy.
SOoo sorry, I would have come otherwise, it just doesn't work out for us that day.
Can we please have another meet soon on a Monday or Tuesday????

Sorry dont think Isabella and I can come :no: We are going out as a family as DH goes back to work on monday. Plus Isabella has had a virus all week - shes alot better but wouldnt want the other babies to get anything as she still has a bit of a cough.
