Party food ideas kids and Adults

OK I am having a bash for the divine miss E
10 kids and err 12 Adults

Now really it's just going to be a huge toddler play date if we're realistic with some food thrown in and around probably.

So what shall I have and what shall I not bother with?

My ideas
Sausage rolls
Smoked salmon sand/w
Volley-vonts (lioke my spelling) :D with what ever stuffed inside ideas please! I am clueless
Sliced fruits strawberries etc
Jelly/ice cream
Cake

Is that enough?

If you have a kid with allergies what would you not want to see at the table? I know no peanut butter etc we never have that anyway.

I am so close to organising a cater lol so please hurry :D

I woud personally skip the jelly and the ice cream! Cake should be enough sugar for them:) It is nice when children dont go home too hyper from a party:yes:

I always have sushi at parties because most children and adults alike love it!

You can thread the pieces of fruit onto passlepop sticks to make it more fun for the kids, like fruit kebabs!

I have stolen a cool idea from someone that I serve at every kids party. Tiny hot dogs made with cheerios and those bake-at-home dinner rolls. Good for kids and adults alike, you can top them anyway you like (and they look so cute).

I was such a bad mummy for Boof's party the other week ... Loads of lollies & stuff but but the lollies were the natural ones cause well while i felt he needed some 'junk' i couldnt go too far ... Oh i lie i had M&Ms & Milk Ways also but the adults mainly had those :laughing:

I had planned to make loads of stuff but in the end bought it cause of Griff & all our dramas :o

We had -

Mini sausage rolls
Mini quiches
Mini samosas
Mini pizzas ( my sister burnt these though hahaha ! )
Spanakopitas ( spinach & feta wrapped in filo pasty )

As well as -

Humous dip
Tsatsziki dip
brocoli
carrots
celery

What about puff pastry triangles ??? I had a thread a few weeks ago for ideas to fill them with so there are loads of yummy ideas there !

Oh & i have a great recipe for this vegie & rice slice thingy MMMmmmm yum !
