well im nearly 6 weeks (i think) pregnant. anyway, since my period was due (and obviously didnt come) i've had on and off period pain. the only thing sometimes its quite painful. it always lasts about 10 minutes then goes again. i rang my doc before coz it was that bad i had to take a panadol today and he said not to worry unless i start bleeding. i still have sore boobs and feeling sick too so he said as long as i have that it would appear everything is progressing. i cant help but still feel a little anxious though. did any of you experience this and it was just a normal part of pregnancy?
may just be the implanting pain :fingerscrossed:

Yeah it did feel like period pain. I have never experienced period pain as badly as some... but it was certainly uncomfortable.
I wasn't too worried because I had read somewhere that the cramping can happen in the first trimester.
If there is blood or the pain is excruciating then I'd get checked out :)

I had some period pain, and from what i heard many do. So relax but if u r still worried, GP can do BT to see how your hormones are progressing, or have an early ultrasound to give u peace of mind.
Yep, Im about 8 weeks this week and in the week that AF was due I had worse then normal period pain like cramps, and even now I still get the occasional cramp. And sometimes when I stand up too quick I can feel muscles pull that I never knew I had! DH says bubs has to grow somewhere!

 I am 12wks now with my first and i hav had pains the whole time. On and off. They were worse at the start but all my child bearing friends said it was normal and to just chill, if there is bleeding and cramping to the point that your on the floor grapling in pain go to the hospital. Everyone is different i guess. One of my friends Rae got her normal period til she was 3mths so i believe it differs.
Cheers, Danni
I had it with DS up until 14 weeks - perfectly normal. This time I also had it and thought nothing of it but the bleeding that started last weekend showed otherwise! The pain alone is nothing to be concerned about.

Before I even found out I was pregnant I was suffered for 4 weeks with really bad period pain.
I also had really bad stitch kind of pain when ever I rolled over during the night.
All this is apparently normal so I would't worry too much.
Take it easy and Congrats.
