Good Morning,

I've just got a quick question about the cheaper formulas made by the chemists.

Have you tried them and if so did bubs like the taste?

My DS is 10 months old and has been on Nestle Nan 1 HA Gold but at $20 a tin it's getting pretty expensive especially considering he's lucky to have 3 bottles in a day.

I was thinking of getting the cheaper version and maybe try the Follow On one now. Any comments?

havent tried the chemists own brand for formula but just wanted to say i have no problem with trying other products with that brand.. i just never saw it was around when ds was on formula.. so i say go for it as long as bubby likes it

There really isnt much difference between brands but some babies do prefer others over another so it can sometimes just be trial & error.

You can also get Heinz Nuture Starter for something like $12 a tin so thats another option !

Thanks for that.

I might swap to the Heinz first and see if he likes it. The chemist brand is $11.95 so there's not much difference at all.

Just thought I'd let you know how I went with the cheaper formula.

I had a look at the Heinz Nurture but that cost $16.95 so I grabbed the Chemists Own Follow On Formula and he loves it.

From $20 to $11.95 a tin....gotta love that.
