This might seem a silly question/thread - and maybe a long question.....:o

I actually started lactating when I was only a few weeks pregnant with DS - over 7 years ago. I stopped bf him when he was 8 months. I only bf DD for 6 weeks when she refused to feed

If I hear a very young baby cry - or even think about it I stll get a let-down. (like nOW!)

I am still lactating! - only a very small amount - not quite enough to feed a bub. I actually started to leak the other day when a new baby started crying in Safeways. I said to the young mum - he's hungry - she couldn't understand how I could tell as versus him needing to be changed - my boobs where telling me.

I tried expressing the other day and can express about a teaspoon full - bad mistake the next day there would have been more

Should I see my GP (phew - can I be bothered) - should I be worried? I am NOT pregnant.

Interesting im sure someone with more knowledge will have something :detective:

My cousin's son was about 9 when my daughter was born and directly following her birth she had a major let down, her shirt was drenched. If I hear a small baby cry with hunger they feel full but I haven't let down. I have little bits of milk but it's only been about 2 years since breastfeeding ended quite abruptly.
