Garden City Coffee Meetup 24th April

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would like to join us for coffee at Garden City on Monday 24th April? We were thinking Gloria Jeans as they have room for prams etc.

Here are the details:-

Garden City Shopping Centre, cnr Logan & Kessells Rd, Upper Mt Gravatt.
Gloria Jeans Coffee Shop (I think it is near the food court - I will check this out)
10am - Monday 24th April - This gives time for the Mums to drop kids off at school/daycare.

i've been meaning to go to garden city for a few weeks now!! the 24th would be good, but unfortunately the 23rd is my last night at work b4 maternity leave & i finish at 1:30am, so i'd be a zombie... :eek:

I am really sorry to say this but I may not be able to go on Monday after all. Shane has got a really bad cold/flu with serious snotty nose etc. Unless some miracle occurs before Monday morning, I won't be able to come. I don't want to risk him in the air conditioning nor do I want to pass this on to someone elses sweet baby. :( :( Will let you all know on Sunday night.

Just been roped in to picking brother in law up from the airport :-( so sorry won't be there this time.
But I am definitely keen for other get togethers. Monday morning isn't the best for me normally though.
Also, just wondering has anyone been to Sunnybank Gymboree? Wondering if it was worth trying?

Awww ok, let us know! I hope he is okay! Poor little one, I know it just hurts seeing them sick :( Will was sick a few weeks ago and it was his first cold, I think I suffered more then he did with worry! :laughing:

:( Unfortunately I won't be able to make it either tomorrow, which I'm bummed about. It looks like I will have to work (due to Tues being a public holiday) and I'm also recovering from a cold (& don't want to expose any mums/bubs to it), Sorry ladies!! Definately am keen to attend the next one, hope those of you who go tomorrow have a wonderful time!!

Jo9999 - I have taken my DD for a free lesson at Gymboree Sunnybank, a few months ago and we did enjoy it. A few of the bubs from my mums & bubs group attend there regularly and enjoy it. If you want a voucher for a free lesson or a voucher from the Entertainment book to get 25% for a term (if you enrol before June 30th), then PM me and I'll be happy to send it to you.

We decided not to sign up because its quite expensive and I think DD would get more out of it when she's older. Plus DD already does swimming lessons, we go to babies, books & rhymes at GC library and we regularly go to mum's group, so I didn't want to overschedule myself and my 8mth dter.
