Just a warning this is a bit of a whinge, anyway, here goes.........

I thought that things were supposed to get easier as they got older! Since dd turned three things have gone from bad to worse. Some days I swear it's like she exists soley to push my buttons. It's like she has become a different child. Her being a two year old was like a walk in the park compared to what I am facing everyday.

When #2 came along, dd was fantastic and not at all jealous. Now almost a year on it seems that she is making up for lost time. She is constantly hurting bub and can not be left unsupervised to 2 seconds. She's also copying bubs tricks to get attention, and she gets her fair share (including positive attention).

Don't even get me started on toilet training, I think that we will never get there, and dd will hold the record for oldest child still in nappies.....

Anyway I really could go on and on, but should stop. Just had one of those days were I have felt on the verge of tears all day, but didn't want dd to win and see me cry:( Almost had a public meltdown in woolworths, but that in itself is probably a whole other thread!

Feeling slighly better now:o

Awww sweetie! Someone should have been kind enough to tell you that little secret, that 3 is much worse than 2

BUT 4 is perfect. I'm loving having a 4 year old

You will have your sweet girl back when she is somewhere in her early 20's. Until then enjoy the rollercoaster.

Oh, and have some of these...:hugs:

Um and yes...3 is much worse...sorry!

I didn't think that anything could be worse than the twos, thanks for letting me in on the secret. What I want to know is why is it kept so hush hush!!?? Wish someone would have warned me earlier:laughing:

oh and thanks for the hugs four boys, they were very much needed. Hey you wouldn't want to "borrow" a little girl for the day by any chance?:p

People go on and on about the terrible twos! No one warns you about the terror/tantrum 3s. Boy is it fun, NOT.
Fingers crossed that age 4 is fantastic 4s.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks.

I have my neices at least once a week and I have trouble keeping up with them, they run rings around my boys, as much as I love my neices to death, I am quite happy with my little men.:D

Anyway, I can't change my name to 4boys1girl2love........:p

EandN, I hope 4 will be better too. Your dd will turn 4 before mine, so let me know if there is some hope:)

4boys, and to think that I was afraid to have a boy!!!!!! My dd runs rings around many a boy that I know.

Well today wasn't much better than yesterday, even though she was at kindy. It's like the second I picked her up she sprouted horns and a tail:devil6:. I placed dd and #2 into the car. I turned away for one second to find her belting #2 on the head over and over again. In the struggle to get her back into her seat she ripped the bunny ears she had made that day.

From then on it was like the world had ended. She howled and howled all the way home. Shredded her bunny ears even further in her anger and then cried even more because they were destroyed. Everytime #2 looked at her she would sream "stop looking at me!!!!". She then took her shoes off and threw them onto the floor and screamed some more because she wanted them back. I was exhausted before I even reached home.

Lets just say that the night didn't get much better. I have just put her into bed and am hoping she will fall asleep quickly.

This has very fast become a whinge thread. Anyone else care to join me?:o
