Will you find out the sex?

Hi ladies,

Just a poll as we are all quickly heading towards 18 weeks, I thought Id see whos finding out the sex and whos not......I dont know if we will be yet we keep changing our minds. We didnt with DD and I want to this time, but dont want to aswell as it was nice to have the surprise at the end. Arhh!

We found out with our second boy and it took away the surprise. When I delivered him they said "its a boy" And I thought to my self " I already know!!!"

We're finding out. we found out with both the girls too.
it's a nice surprise on the day of the u/s, we have found it easier to prepare for things if we know if it's boy or girl.

Nope, I found it way nicer not knowing than when I found out with DS #1 :)

I will stick with white and yellow :D

We decided no. There is no need for us to know as we wouldn't do anything different if we knew.

In this world of so few mysteries it's nice to have one to hold on to for a while.

I really don't want to find out but i'm not sure I could stand the suspense :confused: I did find out with dd though.

I've considered not finding out this time (did find out as early as possible with dd!), but practically it will help us to know, because if it's another girl she can have most of Ava's stuff, if not we need to stock up and budget a bit more. Also I do enjoy doing up rooms and after the birth it just won't be possible :D So yeh will probably find out.

I also think that it's a suprise either way - it's not like you get to choose so it's just when you get the surprise. And there are so many other exciting things after the birth, just meting the little person is hugely surprising..

I voted Yes, I don't want to find out but the hospital are concerned that I can not carry Boy's & if I am having a boy they want to monitor me more closely

I am 99% sure we will so I voted yes. As well as being terrible with not knowing things, I am also SOOO disappointed at the range of unisex colours in infant things. Not that I am planning a huge wardrobe for the baby or anything, but I would like some nice things clothes and decoration-wise and frankly while yellow and mint green are nice enough... there's just too much!!!

so in one way i want to find out encase its another boy so i an get used to the idea iykwim

but not finding out was great

Yes I'm am finding out for sure. I really want a boy and I'm scared I will be disapointed at the birth if its another girl (dont get me wrong I will still love my baby either way I just want to be prepared) I'm sorry if that sounds silly. But I also found out the sex with DD because Its surprise enough seeing what the bub looks like IMO.

Nope. I have have had a surprise for my first two and wouldn't have it any other way.

With Liam, I was actually the first person to see he was a boy, (he was a c-section and they pulled the curtain down so we could see him coming out - we've actually got a freaky photo of his head and arms coming out :laughing:) and I saw his face and thought, I hope you are a boy cause you are not a pretty girl :laughing: and then they pulled him out and flipped him up and all I could see was "BOY" :laughing:

I like surprises.

I sure will! I wish i could have found out the same day i found out i was pregnant! But if i wasnt such a surprise wrecker it would be fun to wait till the end to know, i just dont think i'd make it that long hehe :p

We didn't find out with the 2 boys, and loved it that way... but being that this is my last, wouldn't mind finding out - to experience a pregnancy "knowing".... does that make sense?

We probably wont decide til the day of the Ultrasound! haha

Hi, I'm 14 weeks and I think we already know, we are sure we can see it in our scan photos..we are pretty sure it's a boy, it stood out as clear as day! So i guess I am a yes now. he he:cloud9:

I am 16 weeks. Without an US appt I doubt we will find out any time soon!

I voted yes coz I would love to find out. Didn't want to with DD1, couldn't with DD2 (she's shy!), but am not leaving til I know with #3. I have NOTHING. We were not going to have a third, so i need to prepare financially. Also, we need to emotionally prepare for another girl if that's the way it's going to pan out.

I'm definitely finding out. We found out with DD and it didn't make any difference when she was born....we adored her regardless.

DP asked me last week after my u/s what the sex was...he's very eager to find out but he'll have to wait till the next u/s.

Cassvanm : I can relate to you there....I had NOTHING for DD and had to start from scratch which was awful on the budget.

If the next one is a girl then we're not gonna have to buy much. If it's a boy - the budget is gonna be destroyed as I have nothing left from my 2 DS's Grrrrr

We are finding out. Found out early with DS and after i got over being paranoid they were wrong i was happy that i had everything blue and didnt have to buy anything else :D

DD who is 8 thinks it's a boy...She is coming along to the scan.

Can't wait to see bubs again...26 sleeps till the scan!!!
