I have to pay my planning and management fee this week of which I should be getting around $2700 back.

I am just wondering how they give you the refund can they put it back through on to a debit card or do you have to get a cheque sent out?

Many Thanks

They'll put it straight in your bank account (so take your account details with you) or give you a cheque.

I'm pretty sure that because it's over their 'cash back' threshold, they will send you out a cheque for that amount, not deposit it into your account.
I am only speaking from my experience with it though with DS3.

They sent me a cheque as mt&j'smum said, it was over their cash threshold, I had my bank details with me too, but they said they had to send out a cheque

what's a planning and management fee? How much do they cost, and does every one have it?

My refund was close to $1,000 when I took a few receipts in .... they wanted to transfer it into my account but I didn't have the details with me, so she gave me a cheque.

I take it you are getting that amount refunded because you reached the saftey net threshold??
I guess everywhere is different, i pay $90 every ob appt. And cause i wanted my ob to deliver my bub my planning & managment fee was $1250 of which i recieved $250 back on medicare. But i have now reached the medicare threshold so for the rest of the year my dh, bub & i get nearly every cent back on dr's bill from medicare.
Is your planning & managment fee for all your appts? Are you having a ob present at birth??
Have i confused you. Cause i have certainly confused myself:confused::confused::confused:

Hi Kylza

My actual fee is $3500 and no I am still paying $50 per appointment - I have reached my threshold already so get the standard $100 or so back and then 80% of the difference

Hi, I had got my refund straight into my account after i paid my $1500 ob management fee. i got about $500 back. The lady in the medicare office said she couldn't give me cash because it was a big amount, so she deposited the refund into my account. I hope that helps!
