Babylove carseats?

I need 2 get a new convertible(front & rear facing) seat. I had a look on the website & like the look of the babyloves, the monarch, harvard & royalty. Does anyone recommend them? Does anyone know if they are taller than safe&sound seats? baby girl is quite long already. Thanks:thumbsup:

:wave: Hi. I have a babylove convertible car seat which has just been passed on to baby #3. I love it! Babylove and Safe and Sound are the 2 tallest seats on the market. The babylove also has steal components (like the safety bar) and fantastic side impact protection. They are super plush and our black seat has never faded or worn even after 4.5 years of constant use and several washes. The only slightly bad part is the babylove seats are quite generously wide and long which makes fitting them in the car in the newborn position or beside 2 other safety seats (3 children) a bit squishy. :thumbsup:

We have two babylove seats, they are great!! very roomy and high at the back. I think ours are the royal ones, they are a few years old now but great!!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I think it is the Royalty (purchased over 4 years ago so not 100% sure) it looks like the royalty but fabrics have changed. Ours is a mainly black with grey hounds tooth areas, all velor and very plush. It looks so comfy DH and I often joke we wish they made them in our size.;)

We got the royalty for DS... and we are not happy with it. It seems comfy and all but the annoying bits were that it says it reclines but it moves maybe 1cm. We took it back to the place we bought it to see if we were maybe doing something wrong but he couldnt work it out either and said thats all it does:thumbsdown:
The other thing is the straps are constantly getting twisted. Every week I spend 20 minutes untwisting them and putting them the way they should be and by the next day they are twisted again! :hair:
But I seem to be the only one not happy so maybe we just have a dudd! Or maybe I am just fussy... but when you spend +$500 on a seat you expect it to be good.

wow even at the expensive baby shop here its only $380. If it is bad I will def take it back! Im not 2 worried about reclining, unless u mean when rear facing cos thats what I need it 4? sorry 2 hear u had a bad experience.
