Blocked Millk Ducts

The whole underside of one of my boobs is just a mass of blocked milk ducts. I have been putting DS on as much as possible to dry and drain them out but it doesn't seem to be helping. Is there anything else that can be done? It's already so painful and i really don't want to end up wtih mastitis!

Have a hot shower and massage the area/s. This helped me when I had blocked ducts.
Get a hot water bottle and rest it under, massaging when u can.
Not sure of anything else... keep trying to feed heaps, and even express if u feel it will help.

have you got a pump? if you do express the rest off after your bub has fed, I would probably express every 2-3hrs, when you express it can help to put a warm flannel under your breasts to help the flow, also I tend to put a bit of pressure on the blocked areas to make the milk come out a bit easier

the shower helped me a lot. Just massage from the outside to the in. Have bubs drink from it as much as possible and if you can have bubs chin on the lump as this will stimulate it, if you start getting flu like symptoms maybe see your doc

Feed the baby in the opposite position - ie if you normally feed with a cradle hold, try a football hold. This worked for me.
