Hey there everybody, my name is mel and i have a 8 week old daughter, Leila.
Looking forward to meeting new mummies as i dont have any friends down here that have any children. We moved down form Townsville last year, so all our friends are posted all around Aust, so i cant wait to catch up and meet you all. :wave:

i knew your bubs were the same age, i think they are like a few days apart from what i remember...
i remember being told you were in hospital mel a few days after Sabine had Emma, or visa versa lol cant remember

Townsville ay.. my best friend lives up there.. i love that town everyone is soo friendly..gets hot tho i need my nana naps when i vist hehe.. ill be heading back up there in august as she is due to have her bub next month so need to check out the new addition.

Thanks heaps, We are only in Cnb till end of year as mt husband is in the ARMY and we will be posted then, but it has really good services when it comes to being preg and haing kids, hope to meet you soon. mel xx

hey there Kieren,

ur off to the Ville... im sooo jeleous, we just got back from a week up there, BLOODY HOT, but we loved it. One of our great friends are still up there, they had a baby 7 weeks b4 us, it was great to catch up with them and the rest of the clan..... Id move back 2moro if i could.. Everybody is soo friendly and nothing against anybody at Bubhub, but its very different here.

i see you have bn breast feeding for 24 weeks, good on you girl....

im really dissappointed, i had mastitis 4 times in the 1st 4 weeks and went back to hosp everytime and was strongly advised by doctors to put Leila on formula, so i could get better. i really wanted to bf 4 6 mths, but not to be, so i admire you heaps....

Another Queenslander.......... good. If i could go back 2moro i would, but my husband is in the Army, so not to be,, but we might be of to Perth next, so happy with that...
Another one on the way soon... lucky thing. We have another straight away if i coyld cut my boobs off that is. I had mastitis and has to go back to hosp 3 times in the 1st 4 weeks, not nice at all i tell ya... but id go through it all agian to have another, but might wait just a tad longer than 8 weeks hey........

what does your hubby do in the army?
my hubby was in the army, and we were in brissy for 5years, and like you i would go back there tomorrow if i could.
it will be good to meet you on wednesday.

My hubby is in Logistics at the moment at the Fed Guard. He is overseas alot, but he was home for the birth, thats the main thing, but only just mind you.

yes i know what you mean about townsville being a very friendy place

im orginally a canberra girl but moved back from perth half way through ym pregnancy.. if you go to Perth you will love it.. It is an amazing city, Amazign people... and the wether is great.. get hot yes but not humid like in QLD..which makes it more bareable..beware you urn fast tho cause the direct sunlight.. if you head there take the kids to cottsloe beach.. it great for kids and adults alike, scarbrough is bit rough for the tikes
