Hello Everyone,

I'm new here, but I've been a silent lurker for a while.:) I've been very impressed with what a knowledgeable and generous group of women (and even a few men) are in here.

My DH and I are off on our (very belated) honeymoon in a few weeks, and are really hoping for a honeymoon baby! We'll be away for 6 weeks so we should have at least 1 opportunity. Of course I realise it may not be that easy, but its worth a try!

I stopped taking the pill at the end of a cycle in late January. I have had two full cycles since then, and seem to be ovulating (I have been charting BBT and CM), but still a bit irregular. The first cycle I seemed to o at CD 14 or 15 (and I thought WooHoo), but then got AF on after just 9 days. :( Next cycle I started taking vitex and I didn't o until CD 22 and again got AF after 9 days.

I was wondering if my short luteal phase could be a result of the pill (I have been on and off it for over 10 years), and if there is anything I can do (other than vitex) to help lengthen it.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I haven't worked out how to put a signature together yet, but here's a link to my chart on Fertility Friend, hopefully it works.

Many Thanks, T

Hi :) Can't give any advice whatsoever about leutal phases etc... but I just wanted to say welcome!!!
I have no idea about any of that stuff, I have a hard enough time getting my head around temperature charting and taking my medication on the right day and in the right dose!
Best of luck with your honeymoon baby, wouldn't that be lovely! Have a fantastic time anyway :yelclap:
Again, "Welcome!"

Thanks everyone for your lovely warm welcomes:hugs:

I guess we will just give it a go and see what happens, I've done some research and it seems that a short luteal phase is fairly common after coming off the pill and should sort itself out after a while. I just hope it's sooner rather than later:fingerscrossed:

Thanks again!
