Sunny Coast Meet ups.

so far i've set 4 dates:thumbsup:
alternating Tuesday and Friday so that hopefully everyone gets a chance to go.It will be at the big playground at Landsborough.

Tuesday 18th March
Friday 28th March
Tuesday 1st April
Friday 11th April

tuesday meets will be in the mornings 9ish
friday meets around 11/12 ish..
hope everyone is happy with that.

i read this too late and i'm going to the dfo shop day on the 28th with a mums group. so i'll be there on the 1st if it's not raining.

well i went... DD just ran around after random kids and had a great time. there was a big group of older kids there that she was just in awe of!!:laughing:i think i looked like a bit of a loner, but i dont care:p

Not sure if anyone turned up cos i forgot to think of a way to recognise ppl:doh: :oanyway we had fun, and if anyone has any ideas on how to recognise ppl (other than the pink BH tags, not always easy to see) add it in:D

I'm so sorry!! I feel so bad for forgetting!! I'm normally very good at showing up to meets! :D

Remind me next week, as I do have a stack of pram ribbons in my car if anyone needs/wants one.

As for recognising people - if the regulars show up, it might be easier, as we will be hanging around in a group. Failing that I'm pretty easy to spot: just look for the harrowed looking woman, yelling & screaming & chasing around after 2 young children who refuse to listen! :laughing:

Hello Ladies,

I'm a bit of a lurker (plus I haven't been on much due to some computer issues)

Anyhow my kids LOVE Landsborough park so we'll be there for the next meet.

Obviously don't know what any of us will be wearing but I can say I'll have my baby girl in my bright pink hotslings pouch plus I'll have a tall almost 4yo DS (you'll probably wonder why he's not at school he's that tall, LOL) and a tall curly blonde haired 2yo DD (though she'll probably be wearing her purple Dora hat) My DS is not shy and will introduce himself as TJ so if you meet him before you see me he's mine, lol.

so anyhow I'll put into my phone a reminder,otherwise my sleep deprived brain will never remember. If I meet someone great, if not my kids will have fun and hopefully use up some of their boundless energy.

Sorry we won't be coming now on Friday either as the kids have horrendous colds and I'd hate to pass it on to anyone even if they "seem" better I'd rather not take the chance. hopefully we can come to the next one.

My kids are going a bit stir crazy this morning so we'll be there, both having a bit of an attitude though so we may not stay too long will have to see how they go.

Fiona- it was nice to meet you sorry we had to leave early but I do need Ty's allergies and reactions on record for obvious reasons otherwise they tell me off for not going in, we'll now be organising at some point to get him and Libby allergy tested

Cherie- sorry you couldn't make it but glad you didn't come seeing as your sister obviously needed you!

Bessieboo- we were wondering if you were there, sorry I would have just left as you would have been arriving maybe next week.

Hope to meet some more of you next time and now I know at least one other person to look out for when I'm out and about!

Sorry Ladies, I completely flaked today as it's MILs birthday and silly me hadn't bought her a present, so went on a marathon shopping trip to the plaza during school holidays with the three kids, fortunately I found something without too much drama.

The upside is I got a nice lady come up and say she doesn't know how I do it and to keep up the good work.

So if you went sorry I missed you, I'll try to make the next one!
