As this is my 1st I'm not sure what to expect at my 1st appointment.
What are the types of questions I should ask?

Hi Twiglet,
It depends on the OB. They go through your medical history with you, when your last papsmear was, whether or not it's your 1st baby, if not what was the previous pregnancy and birth etc.. like. May or may not weigh you or measure your tummy (mine didn't do either). They will def take your blood pressure and may test your urine. May or may not feel your boobs for lumps - my last OB did that, not sure that I felt so comfortable with it though.
The best part is they will probably do an inoffice scan. Not all OBs have a scanner but the majority do. If not they will check for a heartbeat. It all depends on how far progressed your pregnancy is.
Tell them how you are coping & if you feel you are experiencing any unusual pregnancy symptoms.
Ask them anything that comes to mind no matter how stupid you feel it might be.
Ask any little thing that worries you and don't be embarressed, they've heard and seen it all.
Good luck, hope it all goes fantastically!!:)

Hi Twiglet,
I have my 2st OB appointment this Monday too. Scary, exciting, surreal.. I don't really know what to expect either!
All the best! I hope it all goes well for you.
