I have been having problems with Leighs bottom! He has been suffering from quite bad nappy rash...............which I discovered was actually the urine burning his skin......poor bubba. As a temporary measure I switched to sposies for overnight, which worked wonders when nothing else was. He is fine in cloth during the day but that long stretch overnight just seems to be too much for his skin to handle. I was using either bbh or bbb with a wool cover and I had started using fleece liners to try and combat the problem, to no avail. Just cheapy fleece though.

I guess what I'm wondering is if I would be better of using a different type of nappy? Like a dreamytimes or a KK or something else i havn't thought of??? He isn't a huge wee-er so that isn't a problem. My guess is taht this is happenening because he is teething, but the end looks nowhere in sight and I am HATING using dispos at all!! But at teh same time I am a apprehensive to go back to cloth.

Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions??

Have you tried a GNST, or one specifically for night use? Or a booster that will draw the wetness away like bamboo? Try that and see, it worked for my bub!

I was going to suggest a BBB, but I just saw that you've already tried that.

Hmmmm, I don't have any other suggestions for you I'm sorry. What type of fleece liner are you using? Is it microfleece or just normal fleece?

There's no microfibre touching bub's bottom is there? Cos that will draw moisture out of his skin and give him a really bad rash...

I highly recommend Bamboo Sandmans for heavy night wetters... absolutely brilliant nappy!
I had the same problems as you with my DD but the Sandmans have never given her a rash - she wakes up with dry bum!

I have recently switched from using a BBB overnight to a boosted pocket (BG or Haute) and find that it draws the moisture away much better and DS feels much drier when I change him. I also find that they stink a bit less in the morning. I am actually thinking of selling the rest of my BB stash

I have tried using pockets overnight in the past and found tehy just leaked terribly - I found I couldn't boost them well and still ge t a good fit iykwim.

The liners I use are just plain old polar fleece(cut up baby blankets actually!). Maybe it would be worth my whil eto get some microfleece and see if that helps before I go out and buy new nappies.
No microfibre at night, I don't like it all that much anyway.

I already use bamboo nappies most nights. H eisn't a very heavy wetter so I'm not sure if a specific night nappy will help. I think it is more th urine sitting against his skin for such a long time.

Thanks for all your suggestions.................keep them coming though, I still don't really know what to do!!!
