Ok I am not sure but I think DD is teething. She is just over 5 months old and has always had reflux, spew everywhere!!! Tried everything from different formulas to gaviscon to losec etc. Nothing ever made a difference until the doc told us to put her on solids which were a god send!! So she has been having 3 bottles and 2 solids a day of just vegies as she hates cereal and has a slight reaction to fruit. She still puked a bit after her bottles but never after solids which is wonderful. However over the last few days she has been puking excessivley after her milk so I am wondering if it could be teething? I can't feel a tooth but she has been tuging at her ear (not an ear infection, had it checked), mouthing her hand alot, not overly irritable but just increased puking after her bottle and up to 4 hours after even!!

It always made my daughter's reflux heaps worse, as did generally being unwell. But teething was the pits for it :(

Yes it can. I read on the Reflux Association for Aust site that teething and general sickness can flare it up but no one really knows why. Our boy is teething now, and I've noticed he's getting reflux symptoms back like pulling off the bottle in pain. Maybe you could reintroduce some meds like Zantac?

She doesn't seem to be in any pain from the reflux, it is just the puking that has increased enormously. I am even tempted to go to 3 solids a day and just 2 bottles.
