Ok at the moment this is just "wishful thinking"

Hubby and I are TTC bubby #3
#1 & #2 were both c-section births.

#1 was an emergency due to hypertension & he had respiratory distress
#2 was an elective that was recommended because I had hypertension again.

I really want to give birth naturally (VBA2C) when we concieve #3.

But I was told that drs are not overly happy about it so its best when approaching the hospital to have a very experienced doula and/or a midwife to help argue the case.

I cant afford a midwife that I know!

BUT I was wondering if there are any doulas in perth that have experience with VBA2C's?? and if so is there any info and can a doula help me talk with the hospital when I need to plead my case??

Hi
Good for you!!
There is no reason why you can't try for a VBAC after 2 c-sections..if you have a healthly/Normal pregnancy your chances of success are higher.. just do lots of research!!
I trained with Australian Doulas.. Im a trainee Doula & im having a VBAC in JUNE!!
I have a Doula who is supporting me & DH.. Im in Hobart now.
Go on to the website www.australiandoulas.com.au (http://www.australiandoulas.com.au) & contact LISA she is fantastic she runs the courses etc.
Another beautiful Doula is Cathy.. she has lots of experience look up her profile.
Goodluck
PM if you need any info.

All the best. A doula can certainly help to provide you with information regarding VBAC. However, a doula cannot speak on your behalf to another care provider (unless pointing directly to your birth plan while you are in labour). It's important that you have a clear understanding of your wishes and feel comfortable with your dicision so that you can speak up for yourself and be empowered (a doula will certainly help you to get to that point :) ). Have a great VBAC!
