Not quite out of the race yet is she??

Hi there,

I am posting this for a friend and I am hoping others have had the same thing happen to them and had a BFP.

After a miscarriage last year my friend has had her period now for about 6 months and has a very regular 28 day cycle. Her period was due monday just gone however it didn't appear. She has done 2 HPT and both have come back BFN. If she were pregnant that would make her 4w2d, some of the websites say and accurate HPT should be done at 5weeks.

I guess the question is has anyone else had negative readings and then a positive after your period was due???? I am praying so hard that god brings this dear friend of mine a little baby..

All input is welcome as she is trying to stay calm and all the reassurance I can give her would be great.

when did she get her bfp last time?

my last pregnancy I tested before I went on a night on the town, it was a :bfn: so I went out and had the time of my life, 2 days later I tested again and :bfp:

if your friend is normally on time and isn't late, then it could be that she is preg and she just didn't have enough hcg in her urine to be detected, maybe get her to test again in another couple of days, as the HCG doubles ever 2-3 days at the beginning,

her last pregnancy she got a bfp @ 5 weeks.

I guess from my experience I always get my bfp's early about 3 days before my period is due so I have never to wait until after AF was due.
