medicine taking

DS is on antibiotics that I have to mix with water...which would be great if he would take it without screaming.

Do you think it is OK to add a bit of juice to the water/tablet mix to persuade him to drink it? :confused:

we were on that one too.NEVER AGAIN!!!! my gp agreed it is horrid but i mixed his with water then custard and that is the only way he ate his

We have to give our bub meds every day and we mix it into Apple Puree to get her to take it, So I imagine it would be fine to use that or custard or something, after you blend it in the water.

When Bailey was on AB I gave it to him in milk. It was the ONLY way he would take it.

thanks girls - he drank it right away with the juice mixed in, I was just thinking to myself it might interfere with the medicine in some way. Paranoid mother alert!

Why do they make things strawberry flavoured? Babies don't like it at all :no:
