We are currently trying to sell our house, and we work really hard have beautiful gardens and nice lawn, have just had the house rendered, and renovated.

We should get a good price however, our neighbour has grass taller than me, I counted 18local newspapers around the letter box,(the ones I can see)
dogs that constantly bark and run up and down the fence like mad, jump up at the fence, nobody wants to walk near that side of the yard, NEVER picks up the dog poop and you smell it when you stand in our back yard.:barf:

After 4 possible buyers said they cant live next to these people, my hubby went to ask her if she can maybe clean up, in the nicest way possibe, then then crazy lady got so mad at him and screamed so loud. Then suprise suprise that night someone pinched the fuses out of our electricity box.

After a visit from the council, she cleaned up the front yard, but the dogs now are the major prob and the smell.
reporting this to the council has gone no where.

What do we do?

Keep up with reporting to council but it sounds like you could involve the RSPCA especially if the poop isnt being picked up it will mean the dogs are living in filth !
Very wrong !
Plus there may also be other issues that the dogs are going through if they are barking a lot etc this may be because they are never handled, walked or even rarely fed !
I wish you all the best hopefully something can be done good luck ! :fingerscrossed:

Reporting virtually anything to any local council is almost always a waste of time!
My neighbour started a fire in his backyard of things he didn't want to take when he was evicted...I had flames higher than our side fence. I called the council...they said they'd call me back...that was over a year ago now!
Councils are for collecting money, they really don't want to deal with anything else.
It might pay to go over yourself and clean up her yard (before inspections) if she'll let you that is. A little inconvenience will go a long way because potential buyers will notice a messy yard next door.
As for the dogs...how many dogs does she have?
Just a thought...if your fuses could go missing...couldn't her dogs befall the same fate?:devil6:
You could let them out and then call the council...they'll be there quick smart if they know they can pick up a couple of dogs...dog at large fine, bailing them out of the pound fine, failure to register your dog fine ('cause I'm tipping they wouldn't be registered) and then the registration fee on top...call the dog catcher in advance and get him to meet you out the front as you open the gate...money for jam!!!!!

Thats really funny, good plan,

but I agree the council do nothing, are they big dogs? vicious? and how many, the council will only let you keep so many dogs,
