Hi Girls
The Gold Coast water is lovely (compared to Toowoomba where I used to live) and so I don't buy bottled water or filter it. My baby girl is 9mths old and I'm wondering if it's ok just to give her water from the tap? I found a similar thread in bottle feeding but thought it was more relevant to ask you guys as you know what our water is like.
Thanks:D

I stopped when Wyatt started crawling at 7 months. Was advised by his Dr to do it as he was probably putting worse in his mouth now that he was crawling LOL!

Thanks Christians mum and Beth. I don't think I'll worry about boiling her water then. She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth so surely unboiled water won't hurt her. I just have never heard when other mum's stop boiling bub's water.

i stopped sterrilizing about 6 months but i still boil everyones water, we prefer the taste. bepibarinas right. why worry when your child sucks the closest thong to them lol. one thing i learnt too late by a dental nurse is dont suck your childs dummy/bottle teat to clean it as your cavitys can transfer to your child.
good luck:D

Yeah ive been on the Gold Coast for a few years now and still think it tastes yukky (but better than brisy water) I stopped boiling tap water for Blayze at around 9months, although every now and then we buy bottled water and i often refridgerate our water left in the kettle, only cause i think it tastes better!! Its just so expensive to buy water all the time.

12 months with my first - and I'll do the same this time around. Im a melbourne girl and really tasted the chlorine in the water when we first moved up (15 years ago) and still remember how horrible I thought it was.
