Hi there!
My choice would be the pigeon range of teats and bottles. My mother is a midwife and lactation consultant and both herself and another two other family friends who are mothercrafts recommended these as well. This recommendation is more so for newborns up to 6 months. Choosing a bottle with a good teat for your own bubs needs can be trial and error as well.
My little Oscar is not the fussiest bub though....he's a food monster so would probably take his milk cupped in my hands if I gave it to him!!
Hope this helps!
I find Avent bottles and teats great. You can also get the same style in lesser known brands from Target and BigW but a lot cheaper. I like the wide neck ones becaues they are a lot more easyer to clean
I like, and DS likes avent, i use avent breast pump and also avent microwave steriliser. Everything goes together and works well for me.

I bought Avent systems initially. The disposable bottles and manual breast pump. I found the plastic used in the teats was a bit hard, not very flexible. The flow sizing system was also confusing, it seemed like Avent was recommending you switch up to a slightly higher flow teat just about every month.
I switched to Pur teats on the advice of a lactation consultant. The Pur teats are softer and more flexible and fit most standard bottles. So you can buy very cheap bottles (Tommy Tippee, etc) but still have good teats. I don't use wide neck bottles since switching from Avent but have never had a problem either filling or cleaning bottles.

I started with avent bottles, breast pump, steriliser etc. But bubs didn't take to the bottles very well at all. So, we switched to Pur moulded teats and Tommee Tippee bottles. It took a bit of trial and error with teats until I found one that bubs would drink from. The moulded ones are great as they are shaped to fit bubs mouth similarly to a nipple.
Oh and my avent steriliser fit the taller, slimmer bottle in it too so that just turned out to be handy!

I use Nuk bottles and teats (the teats fit the cheap $2 bottles too, which is a bonus). They come in 3 size holes so you can use the small hole teat for water and the large for cereal. Target stock them.

I recommend Avent too. You can use the bottles and the cups and interchange the heads. I've had bottles that have lasted through 2 babies already and are ready for the third, so they're very durable.
