Hello! welcome to Brissy
I was just about to start a new thread on this and found you here, so i'll just add to this one. I was chatting to another mum from the area and suggested we meet up at a local park for coffee & picnic This way the kids get to crawl/run around and we can have our coffee fix and chat.
I suggest Wellington Point??? Any other ideas?
How about one day next week? might be able to get a little group together by then.

It will be great to meet some other mums in the same area and hopefully catch up regularly.

Meeting up next week sounds great.
Tuesday's and Thursday's are out for me though as I work on these days.'

The city can be pretty full on - especially in Queen St around lunch time. But I cannot image life without the Myer Centre . Brisbane is the best city:yelclap: .

So what time and day does it suit everyone to catch up? How about a Wednesday?...I can bring a big tarp for us and the bubs/todds to sit on.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site. I was happy to find a thread on the Bayside Area. My name is Jane (age 32) I have a daughter who is 3 years old. I am also expecting my second child in November.

I have been living in the Bayside area for the past 16months prior to this I was living in the UK. I have found it hard to meet people with children the same age as my daughter. Now I am pregnant again I would love to chat and meet some new friends.

I am studying full time at the moment, but get Monday's off. If you do organise any meets on Monday's I would love to attend.

Even if it's not raining - it's gunna be a stinking hot day. I thought summer was over! ...... So we'll try again for next wed. I was trying to think of somewhere undercover to meet, somewhere where the kids don't need to be restrained (Maddy cracks it if she's in the pram too long)
Is that monkey business place still at capalaba? I've never been there - just a thought....

Just to let everyone know for those who have youger children say under aged 3 playland at cleveland is much better suited to that aged group.

I leave near monkey business and am happy to check for you all if open still. Stopped going cause felt the other place was beeter equiped also for the older kids

If this suits most as my little one normally ready for a sleep around 11.00.
