Has anyone had success using homeopathic remedies for their babies sleeplessness?

At 4 mths I did some comfort crying in order to remove the night feed (if you could call it that, he was only eating 60ml). That went well until about a week ago. He is now almost 6mths and wakes several times a night and I'm due back at work in a month :( . He's def not hungry or thirsty, I've checked that. His teeth are ok, and sometimes it's not even the dummy. I've even started wrapping him again which has helped. He seems to settle if I lay down next to him although we don't co-sleep (he's in a cot in his own room).

Anyhow, please let me know if you have had any joy with anything other than chamomile. It's not much fun being constantly tired is it :)

hi- no, it's not fun being constantly tired- but I guess it's just part of motherhood. My bubs both started waking again around that age. Could be teeth moving, they do move around and cause discomfort even when you can't see them coming.

Personally, I think in my bubs case it was just that they needed some reassurance that I was near by. So that's what I gave them- my presence. Works like a charm except it can be tiring getting up. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

In terms of homeopathy, I haven't tried it for sleepnessless- however I have used it for colic and gastro and found it very very good. I would give it a shot. It can't hurt.

A resourse I found very helpful was Dr Sears website- I don't know the address but if you google it it will come up.

Hope you have some nights full of sleep near by

I used homeopathy recently for morning sickness and reflux - worked magnificently.

It certainly couldn't hurt to give it a whirl.

hi,

my latest advise in a GROBAG, www.grobag.com.au
It has worked wonders for my 7 month old with the same problems. We use homeopath and hebal remedies also, have not tried anything for sleeping. Just find that he is settled in the sleepingbag and at a nice temperature all night. he has gone from waking 4-6 times per night to sleeping 11-12 hours and settles himself to sleep. :fingerscrossed:
